Here's a funny story that got me thinking.
I was on the phone with a vendor buying some supplies and the conversation turned to his bad day he was having. Brad, being a senior member of the staff, had a reserved parking spot at work which really pays off during snow-filled, Midwest winters. Turns out a couple days that week other people were parking in his spot and he decided to leave a note by the time clock letting people know not to park there. That didn't work and today was another day that Brad had to park in a different area.
I got off the phone and as a joke I whipped together a parking sign for him and mailed it out. A few days later I got a phone call from a laughing Brad who said that sign was perfect and asked where did I get it from. He was surprised to hear that I did it myself in our print shop in Upland, CA. He knew we did banners, T-shirts and labels, but had no idea we had the capability to do something like that.
I explained we had the metal frame structure in stock and after a little bit of typesetting we printed out a vinyl sticker, cut it out, and applied it to the sign. It's a pretty simple job for us, and I told him we did hundreds of them a year. It got me thinking about how many people have no idea of all the services we offer here and this blog was born. We're going to try and explain all the different services we offer and even try to explain the differences between jobs.
We hope you enjoy them and thanks for stopping by.
